There are three different ways to purchase a product on CardTrader, depending on the service that best suits your needs:
CARDTRADER DIRECT
By adding an item with this blue button, you will make a direct purchase from the seller. If you buy from two or more different sellers, keep in mind that each purchase will have separate shipping costs.
CARDTRADER ZERO
By adding an item with this yellow button, you will use the ZERO service. The product will be shipped from the seller to our facility, where it will be checked and prepared for shipping.With this service, you can continue adding items from any Zero-enabled seller without worrying about paying multiple shipping fees. The only shipping cost will be the final one, from our facility to you.You can request the shipment once your cards are marked as "ready" for delivery.To save on shipping costs, we recommend waiting until all your purchased cards or at least a good portion of them are ready to be shipped.
ZERO 1-DAY
By adding an item with this green button, you will purchase through the Zero service, but with one key difference:The product will be ready to ship the next day!You won't have to wait for the seller's shipping time or the Zero quality check, as all items marked as "Ready" have already been checked and are available at our facility for immediate shipment.
To track the status of your purchased items, use the dedicated CT Zero page.
With the Zero service, you can buy from sellers participating in the program and only pay for the shipping from CardTrader to you. There are no additional fees, even if you buy from international sellers.
Please note that the arrival times of your purchased item at our facility depend on the seller's shipping speed. When adding products via the ZERO button, allow a few days for shipping and transit from the seller to our main location, where the item's compliance will be checked.
Sellers who take more than 3 weeks to send their items to CardTrader's main facility from their weekly shipping are marked with the "3+ Weeks" icon.
If you want to receive your product as quickly as possible, we recommend buying via Zero 1-Day: products added via the "ZERO 1-Day" (green) button are already ready for final shipment from CardTrader to you.
Once part or all of your Zero order is marked as "ready for shipment," you can proceed to pay for the single shipping fee from CardTrader's facility to you by selecting the shipping method from the dropdown menu. You will receive your order containing all products purchased via Zero within the estimated delivery time based on the shipping method you choose.
CARDTRADER ZERO
Icon for all sellers who ship their products weekly to the CardTrader facility. You can expect your cards to be ready for shipment as quickly as possible, taking into account the days required for shipping and transit from the seller to the CardTrader facility.
CARDTRADER ZERO 3+weeks
Icon for sellers who take longer to send their items to our facility. This indicator alerts users to expect longer wait times, as the item is coming from an international seller. Please allow 3+ weeks from the moment of purchase for the item to be ready for final shipment.
CARDTRADER ZERO 1-Day
Icon for items ready for shipment from the CardTrader facility. The items you purchase will be ready for final shipment the day after your purchase, with no waiting time.
From the dedicated "CT Zero" orders page, you can track all purchased items using the "Where is my card" icon on the right side.
In case of delays, it’s possible that the card was found to be non-compliant during the inspection, and as a result, it was repurchased from another seller to ensure you receive the item in the condition, language, and attributes you originally purchased..
In the section "Accepting items with deviations within a price threshold" we provide information in case you still want to receive cards that have deviations, as long as they fall within a selectable price range.
You can choose at any time to accept cards with deviations in condition, language, or edition within a price threshold from the CT ZERO page using the selector "Accept non-compliant items with value less or equal to:".
This way, you can decide whether to accept receiving items without waiting for them to be repurchased if the seller sends the wrong edition, a card in lower condition, or a different language than the one you originally purchased.
All items sold through Zero that arrive at the control site and do not meet the purchased properties (language, foil, condition, edition, etc.) are rejected. At the time of inspection, an automatic repurchase of the item is carried out within a price threshold.
Please note that in the case of non-compliance with the item you purchased, the item may not be repurchased in the following cases:
► There is no other item for sale through Zero with the same properties (language, condition, edition).
► There is no other item for sale through Zero within the price range to allow the repurchase.
Items that could not be repurchased will appear in the "Cards not available" section and will be automatically refunded.
We recommend that you keep in mind that "sealed" products on our platform must meet certain minimum selling conditions. Perfect and flawless packaging conditions are not guaranteed, as we allow for a certain level of tolerance and wear due to time, material, packaging, and transportation*.
For a product to be sold as "sealed" (such as booster boxes, preconstructed decks, entire product cases, special packaging, etc.), it must meet the following conditions:
►Intact Seal and No Tampering
If the product is equipped with a protective film or original manufacturer seal, these must be intact and not removed. Minor surface marks on the film are acceptable, as long as they do not compromise its integrity.
⚠️ There must be no signs of tampering, such as tears, abnormal creases, glue or tape residue that could suggest prior opening or an attempt to reseal the product. Any anomaly that suggests potential alteration of the product may lead to its rejection.
Tolerated Issues:
✔️ Light surface scratches
✔️ Small dents on corners
✔️ Light signs of wear on edges
In case there is a minor defect on the protective film/seal, the product is still considered "compliant" as long as the contents remain intact and undamaged.
► Acceptable External Condition
The product should not show any significant damage or impact on the packaging that could affect the contents. Minor signs of wear from transportation can be tolerated, but we do not accept the following under any circumstances:
❌ Obvious cuts or tears
❌ Visible dents or impacts
❌ Application of adhesive tape or glue
❌ Discolored or stained packaging
❌ Manual alterations (marker marks, writing, etc.)
❌ Opened packaging
⚠️ Products that are evidently worn should not be listed for sale!!
Any sealed product that is opened or damaged, and not in compliance with sealed sale conditions, should be sold individually in the correct condition (e.g., if the packaging of my starter deck is opened or damaged -> I should list the individual cards from the starter deck for sale).
*If you wish to purchase a sealed collectible product with the guarantee of receiving it without any imperfections, we recommend making a direct purchase from the seller and requesting additional photos and information.If you choose to buy a sealed product through the CardTraderZero service, please be aware that you will need to accept the tolerance terms outlined above for sealed products.
Our platform offers listings of individual pieces from bundles or kits, which can be sold and purchased separately from the original sealed product. All loose products (such as dice, sleeves, empty packaging, mats, etc.) must meet the following minimum selling conditions:
